Solfa Carlile wins OSP Composition Competition

London-based Irish composer Solfa Carlile has won the inaugural OSP Composition Competition, launched in Classical Music magazine in June 2010.  She wins a cash prize of £500 and her piece, The Copper Faye, will be performed in our concert in Covent Garden on Sunday 19 June.  The competition was judged by composers David Matthews and Judith Bingham, and OSP's musical director Ben Palmer.  Find out more about Solfa at her website, www.solfacarlile.co.uk.
